Vendor applications open for the Grassy Park Festive Market

Vendors are encouraged to apply now for a spot at the Grassy Park Festive Market set to take place on Friday, 12 and Saturday, 13 December at the Grassy Park Civic Centre on Victoria Road.

Applications open on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, and close on Thursday, 20 November 2025, at 16:30. Stalls will cost R78 per day for the two-day event.

‘The City is bringing the Christmas Market to Grassy Park after repeated requests from the community. With the support of small businesses that can provide an exciting offering, I am sure that the market will again be a success,’ said Ward Councillor for Ward 65, Donovan Nelson

‘The Grassy Park Festive Market is a worthwhile addition to the City’s calendar of markets. They bring communities together, offer a fun event at no cost, and importantly, allow residents to support local entrepreneurs,’ said Alderman James Vos, the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth.

Vendors selling food, crafts and other unique goods are encouraged to apply. Application forms can be found at this link or collected in person between 08:00 and 15:30, Monday to Friday, at the Area Economic Development office on the Ground Floor, Plumstead Municipal Office, on the corner of Main and Victoria Road, Plumstead.

Space is limited and stalls will be granted to those who meet the selection criteria.
